Staying at Azola Hotel
Nestled in the heart of Italy’s breathtaking Dolomites, Val di Fassa offers an unforgettable ski experience with over 120 km of perfectly groomed runs, seamless access to the world-famous Dolomiti Superski circuit, and stunning alpine scenery in every direction. The Dolomiti Superski region is one of the largest interconnected ski areas in the world, linking 12 valleys and more than 1,200 kilometers of slopes under a single lift pass. It’s famous for its dramatic limestone peaks, long scenic runs, and the ability to ski from village to village without ever taking off your skis. Staying in Val di Fassa gives you a particularly strategic advantage. The valley sits right on the Sella massif, meaning you can easily access the Sellaronda circuit in either direction and reach multiple Dolomiti Superski areas without long transfers. We will be staying in a 3* Azola Hotel in the village of Canazei in Val di Fassa. On our return, we will be staying one night at Venice Hotel Titian Inn Venice Airport de Tessara with easy access to Venice using the water taxi.
On our day in Venice, experience it at one of the most magical times of the year — the weekend just before Carnevale. The city begins to buzz with anticipation as masks, costumes, and decorations appear throughout the winding streets and historic piazzas.
Included in the price:
● Round trip airfare Newark to Venice
● Round trip transfers between Venice airport to Azola Hotel (about a 3 hour ride)
● 7 nights lodging at Azola Hotel in Canazei
● One night at a Titan Inn near Venice airport
● Daily breakfast at both hotels
● 6 dinners at Azola Hotel (the staff at Azola have Tuesday evenings off)
● Daily shuttles to/from the Belvedere ski gondola provided by the hotel
Exclusions:
● Lift tickets (see below)
● Ski Rentals (approx $150 – $250 per week depending on Sport, Advanced or Demo package)
Current pricing is as follows:
Double occupancy: $3300* per person for a double occupancy hotel room
Single occupancy: add $1220*
No air: subtract $1199*

Lift tickets
Lift tickets are not included in the trip price above. There are several types of lift tickets available: for Val di Fassa only and for the entire Dolomiti Superski area. Dolomiti Superski area allows you to ski Stellaronda and the entire Dolomiti Superski area. Dolomiti Superski area lift tickets in 2026 were 86€ per day for regular tickets and 77€ per day for seniors. The 5 of 6 day tickets were 420€ and 378€ for seniors. The 6 day lift tickets were 436€ and 392€ for seniors. Val di Fassa is on the IKON pass and the base IKON pass will give you 5 days of skiing at Val di Fassa and other resorts in the Dolomiti Superski area.
Club membership
Club membership is required to sign up for this trip. Go to https://www.bucksmountskiclub.org to download the membership form. Please mail the form and membership payment to the address on the form.
Flight itinerary
If you are booking your own airfare, please be advised that if your flights arrive or depart at a time that is different from club’s flights, you will need to make your own way to/from Val di Fassa. Also, be aware that flight times may change at the airline’s discretion. We are currently booked on Air France, but if a less expensive itinerary becomes available, we might switch to a different itinerary.

***Payments MUST be received by due date. Failure to do so could result in removal from the trip and payment of replacement penalties.
NOTE: A valid U.S passport is required for this trip. All passports must contain at least 3 blank visa pages and must be valid for 6 months after the completion of the trip. If your passport is about to expire, it is recommended that you renew your passport nine (9) months before your passport expires. This would give you enough time to apply for a U.S. passport with the passport office. Please also ensure that the name on the passport corresponds with your name on the trip signup form.

*To be eligible for the waiver of pre-existing medical condition exclusion, the Ultimate protection plan must be purchased within 21 days from the time you make your initial trip deposit. However, either of the two plans can be purchased any time prior to departure.
