Ski 2 days. We are looking forward to going back for the sixth time to the Hartness House, Vermont's historic inn, originally the home of James Hartness, inventor, astronomer and governor of Vermont in 1920. Located in Springfield, VT minutes off I-91, we have always enjoyed the Victorian atmosphere of the original house. The sitting areas with window seats, couches, fireplaces and bar offer comfortable areas for us to gather. The innkeepers will keep up the festive holiday garlands and trees for us this year. We plan to enjoy the excellent terrain and grooming at Okemo both days. The chef will prepare one dinner and two breakfasts buffet for us. A $200 depost per person holds your reservation.
